About RDG

RDG provides financial reporting and regulatory compliance solutions that help companies simplify complex filing and disclosure requirements. Our mission is to make compliance effortless through technology, expertise, and exceptional client support. We pride ourselves on a collaborative culture, continuous learning, and a commitment to helping our clients succeed. If you’re looking for a place where your ideas matter and your growth is supported, RDG is the right fit for you.

About the Role

As a Financial Document Preparation Specialist, you will play a key role in creating standardized financial documents and structured Excel templates used during client onboarding and beyond. This role emphasizes document formatting, financial data organization, consistency, and accuracy—not IT support, technical troubleshooting, or healthcare documentation.

You’ll work with the onboarding team to ensure all materials are properly formatted, validated, and ready for client use. Your work ensures accuracy and professionalism in the financial documents our clients rely on.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and format standardized financial documents according to RDG’s reporting and style guidelines.
  • Build and update Excel templates with correct formulas, references, and structured data fields.
  • Conduct quality reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Maintain organized document libraries and manage version control.
  • Update internal SOPs and ensure internal documentation remains clear and current.
  • Collaborate with onboarding specialists to translate requirements into finalized templates.
  • Troubleshoot and correct document formatting or structure issues.
  • Some client communication via email and teams as needed to coordinate onboarding template needs.
  • Assist with updating templates after clients transition into ongoing use.

 What We’re Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Excel (formulas, references, data validation) and Word (styles, tables, sections, formatting).
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills and consistency in following processes.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in situations with shifting priorities.
  • Experience in document preparation, administrative work, or financial reporting support is a plus.
  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial statements or regulatory reporting is a plus but not required.
  • This is not an IT, technical support, or healthcare documentation role.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Unlimited PTO – because work-life balance matters.
  • All Federal Holidays paid off.
  • 401K with company match.
  • Free Parking.
  • Comprehensive training on RDG solutions and onboarding processes.
  • Collaborative, supportive team culture.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
